Al Gianchetti
Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Al Gianchetti has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer since October, 2007. Before joining Vanda, Mr. Gianchetti held the position of Vice President, Global Commercial Strategy at GlaxoSmithKline, where he was responsible for the global launches of Levitra® and Avodart®. Prior to this role he was a Regional Vice President in the largest U.S. sales region within GSK. In his more than 18 year tenure at GlaxoSmithKline, Mr. Gianchetti also led the launch of Avandia® and Augmentin BID®, and implemented managed care strategy.
